Ho-Oh Appears...

Ho-Oh is Popping up everywhere! As well as new Raid Bosses. There's a massive pour of players huddling together here in Granite City for meet-ups and raid challenges. Ho-Oh seems to be fairly easy to take down with a good combo of water, electric, and rock type Pokemon. This makes perfect sense given that Ho-Oh's weaknesses are the very same.

I'd recommend the usual Stone Edgers like Golem or Tyranitar, and strong Water types such as Vaporeon. Some people think Lapras is a good idea because of it's naturally high HP stats but- Lapras is ALSO part Ice-Type. WEAK AGAINST FIRE. Use it as a last resort! Other legendaries seem to do pretty well so long as they distribute an attack aligned with Ho-Oh's weakness as well as a resistance to Flying or Fire types. As far as actually capturing the rainbow pheonix- I've gone 3/3 myself with similar reports all around. Ho-Oh appears VERY close, so don't strain your finger with a long throw. In my experience, best results for capture have come with a combination Golden Razzberry, Curve Ball + Great! or Excellent! throw.

With the community growing larger and larger every day here- I have gotten together with a few friends and we've been kicking around ideas for t-shirts. Thinking about going with my original Steelix design....you know....because this is the STEEL City and all. Keep ya posted!
